Authorities said that at least five people were killed in a head on crash in Georgia Saturday afternoon.
According to Sgt. Jack Redlinger, of the Newton County Sheriff's Office, two vehicles collided at Adams Circle on Highway 142 in Newton County. This is about 40 miles east from Atlanta. Jack Redlinger.
Redlinger stated that all five of the victims were in the same vehicle. The authorities have not released names or age details of those who died.
According to Redlinger, the driver of the second car involved was transported to a local hospital in a critical condition.
It is unclear how the collision occurred.
