China's Producer Prices Sink Again in June in Latest Sign of Struggling Economic Recovery

According to China's National Bureau of Statistics, producer prices fell 5.4% from the previous year and 0.8% from one month earlier in June. In June, the annual consumer price inflation rate was flat. This is lower than expectations of a 0.2% increase in a Reuters survey and also weaker than May's 0.2% rise. In June, the monthly consumer price inflation was 0.2% lower than expected. This is below expectations of flat growth. It also follows the 0.2% drop in May.
