Welcome to Deal Dash. Our weekly news roundup highlights some of the most recent commercial real estate deals in Greater Nashville. We will showcase recent sales of commercial real estate, as well as proposed developments, construction loan, leases, and other activity.

According to Metro planning documents, the owners of a 0.41 acre parcel of land located on Nashville's East Bank filed an application for an 18-story building to be built on site. Nashville International Airport announced plans to build a new parking garage, "Garage B", which will have 1,800 covered parking spaces spread over six floors. Tishman Speyer, a New York City-based real estate company, filed plans this week to consolidate all of its properties at 133 Korean Veterans Boulevard in one lot. The company purchased 18 properties in Second Avenue South for $10.17m earlier this month, adjacent to the Korean Veterans Boulevard property it purchased in February for a total of $27m. Tishman Speyer lists the property as "First & KVB" on its investments and projects page, where it's described as a "flagship mix-use development located in downtown Nashville." Cheetah Auto Wash of Bowling Green, Kentucky, announced that it will open two new locations in Nashville at 510 Donelson Pike, and 306 White Bridge Pike. In the next few months, the company will refurbish and rebrand existing car washes on those properties. Davidson County records indicate that the company bought the property at Donelson Pike in Nashville for $1.15M. A spokesperson for the firm said they have taken over the White Bridge Pike existing car wash. Cheetah Clean's new facilities will have eight locations, including those in Bowling Green and Elizabethtown. They also operate car washes in Owensboro, Kentucky and Nashville.

Davidson County documents show that developers have submitted a plan for a mixed use project on the 3900 block Charlotte Avenue, in Sylvan Heights. The project will bring together Franklin-based Chartwell Residential, CHM Development, and a grocery store to create 249 apartments, 42,600 sq ft of retail, and a total of 249,900 square feet. Zary Rahimi and Mohammad Rahimi own the majority of this site, 14 out of 16 parcels. The Ragan Family, and a limited-liability company, own the other two parcels.
