A Georgia-based affiliate of a restaurant brand acquired the property that housed MELT Avondale.
According to Reonomy, the property at 4105 Fourth Ave. S. is 2,500 sq. ft. and located in an Opportunity Zone. It is also situated on 0.25 acres. The property is located across from The Goose and has a shared boundary with Taco Morro Loco and Munchies 5th Bar and Grill.
MELT relocated to Lane Parke in December 2022 after closing the Avondale store.
According to Jefferson County public documents, Serendipitous LLC has sold the former restaurant property of Pure Five LLC to Jefferson County on March 30, 2019. The transaction closed at $1 million.
Serendipitous LLC is listed with a local address that shares the property it recently acquired. It's registered to MELT coowner Harriett reis, which indicates affiliation.
Pure Five LLC has listed an address at 119 Roswell Street in Alpharetta Georgia that it shares Next 2 PURE - a full service events venue - indicating a connection.
According to its website, Next to PURE is the corporate headquarters of PURE Taqueria, an authentic Mexican restaurant chain that offers creative margaritas and Mexican food. The brand operates seven locations around Atlanta.
MELT started as a mobile food service and spent over eight years at its Avondale location. The restaurant has three locations today: Mountain Brook Hoover and Huntsville.
