Million Air signs lease at BHM
A Texas-based aviation company is investing $32 million in BHM.
It's official -- A Texas-based aviation firm is investing at least $32 million into BHM.
FBO Million Air is set to begin operations at BHM as of June 1. The company plans to build three hangars, a terminal and a total of 94,000 square foot in new development. This was reported by the BBJ.
Roger Woolsey said, "We are very proud to be a partner with Birmingham Airport Authority. Their commitment to the growth and development of the airport is parallel to ours." Our plans are to create a modernized Million Air Birmingham. We are confident that we can provide a facility, a level of service and amenities at the airport that will be unparalleled.
According to a press release, the new facilities will replace the old ones that were on the east end of the airport. Some of these buildings were constructed in the 1960s.
