Nine People Killed in Texas After a Shooter Opens Fire at Suburban Mall

Authorities in Texas are investigating an incident that occurred Saturday afternoon on the outdoor mall of Allen, Texas.
Officials from the Texas Department of Law Enforcement said that a shooter who opened fire in a shopping mall near Dallas on Saturday killed nine people and injured seven others.
Gunfire broke out at Allen Premium Outlets around 3:30 pm local time. The Allen Police Department reported that a police officer in the area responding to an unrelated call, heard gunshots from the mall. He then engaged the suspect.
