Ravich Meyer law firm dissolves, remaining lawyers join Felhaber Larson

As of May 1, four lawyers from the Ravich Meyer firm joined Felhaber Larson.
The four remaining attorneys decided that it was better to join Felhaber Larson than continue at Ravich Meyer after the two longtime partners, Paul Ravich and Joe Nauman, retired. Four attorneys and two assistants joined the 37 lawyers, three paralegals and 25 employees at Felhaber Larson.
Will Tansey (left), Dave Kirkman (right), Peter Snyder (left) and Ted Wagor (right) will join Felhaber Larson’s Commercial and Real Estate Law Group. Felhaber Larson expects all Ravich Meyer clients to join them.
Ravich Meyer, which is located in Fifth Street Towers downtown Minneapolis, will close its doors and join Felhaber-Larson in U.S. Bank Plaza.
The two firms stated that they formed a partnership because of their similar firm cultures, commitment to excellence in the legal field, and professional but practical approach to client service and the practice and practice of law.
The news release stated that Felhaber Larson, a full service law firm, has a history of 75 years serving clients with regard to business and commercial transactions.
The firm was ranked among the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Best Places To Work in 2022, and the 26th largest law firms in the Twin Cities in 2023.
According to a press release, Ravich Meyer specializes in business planning and organization, financial transactions and bankruptcy matters, mergers, acquisitions, real-estate, employment and management issues, and mergers and restructuring.
Will Tansey, former Ravich Meyer partner and current partner with Felhaber Larson, said in a release that joining Felhaber Larson made the most sense to his team.
