The Rise and Fall of SBF

Michael Lewis's new book hits the stores Tuesday, as the FTX founder goes on trial.

The Rise and Fall of SBF

In the mid-1990s, I met author Michael Lewis of "Liar's Poker" fame when I drove him around Silicon Valley, in a beat-up convertible. I told him stories and showed where the first microprocessor and transistor were invented. Also, I showed him Xerox Parc with its beanbag chairs and Hewlett Packard. As we drove, I told him about my time with Jim Clark at Silicon Graphics, Netscape's early days, and Glenn Mueller who committed suicide because he was denied investment.
